Accessibility Statement

Spanish Riviera Flips, S.L. wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using a screen reader, keyboard only, magnification, or a browser with text enlarged.

1. The standard we work to

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and by Spanish Law 11/2023.

We are stating an aim, not certifying conformance. Parts of this site have been measured against AA and parts have not. Where we know something falls short, it is listed below rather than left out.

2. What has been tested, and how

• Colour contrast: every text element on the home page, the guides, the calculators and all four policy pages was measured in a browser against its real computed background. All measured elements meet the 4.5:1 ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text.
• Images: all 2,794 images across the site were checked for alternative text. None are missing it. Decorative images carry an empty alt attribute, which is the correct pattern.
• Keyboard: every form control is reachable by keyboard and has either a visible label or an accessible name. A visible focus outline is shown on all interactive elements.
• Structure: each page has one h1, a skip-to-content link, and a heading order without skipped levels.
• Motion: animation and smooth scrolling are disabled automatically for anyone whose system is set to reduce motion.

3. Known limitations

These are the parts we know are not there yet:

• The developments map. It is drawn on a canvas and is not usable by keyboard or screen reader. Every development shown on it is also listed as ordinary text and links on the developments page, so no information is only available through the map.
• Property descriptions. Text, floor plans and images for individual developments are supplied by the developers. We do not control their wording, and some plans are images without a text equivalent. Ask us and we will describe any plan.
• The downloadable buyer's guide (PDF). It has not been tested for screen-reader tagging. If you need it in another format, ask and we will send one.
• Automated testing only goes so far. This site has not yet been tested by a person using a screen reader day to day. That is the obvious next step and we have not done it.

4. What we have deliberately not done

We have not installed an accessibility overlay or toolbar widget. Those do not make a site accessible and can interfere with the assistive technology a visitor already uses. We prefer to fix the underlying pages.

5. Telling us about a problem

If something on this site blocks you, write to hello@spanish-riviera.com with the page address and a short description. We aim to reply within five working days and to tell you either when it will be fixed or how we can get you the information another way.

6. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the competent authority in your country of residence. In Spain, accessibility obligations under Law 11/2023 are supervised by the relevant public administration for the sector concerned.

7. How this statement was prepared

Prepared on 14 September 2026 following an audit of the site carried out in September 2026, combining automated measurement in a browser with manual review of structure, labelling and keyboard operation. It will be revised when the limitations above are addressed.
